Meet Lilly Tweed.
Former Agony Aunt. Purveyor of Fine Teas. Accidental Sleuth.
Invited to celebrate the wedding anniversary of two close friends, Lilly jumps at the chance. Not only is there to be a party, but as the family owns a luxury seaside bed-and-breakfast she’s looking forward to a well-earned break.
Unfortunately, nothing goes to plan. Beneath the happy, carefree exterior, lurk secrets and lies, and as the tension mounts somebody reaches breaking point.
The party ends in a tremendous storm which causes a power cut and fells trees across the only access road, and the inhabitants of The Palms find themselves trapped with no way to call for help. Then a body is discovered and Lilly realises the danger outside is nothing compared to within.
There is a murderer among them.

Well-Written & Entertaining!
Another terrifically entertaining outing for Lilly Tweed.
In this third instalment of the Tea & Sympathy series, Lilly leaves Plumpton Mallet behind as she travels to the coast to help two old friends celebrate their wedding anniversary. She will be staying at the family’s luxury B&B, enjoying a short break as well as their party celebration, the highlight of her stay. However, when family and friends gather together there are definite tensions in the air spoiling what should be a light-hearted atmosphere and then a body is discovered. As they are fairly isolated, there is only one solution – there is a murderer among them!
In this third book, it’s lovely to see Lilly away from her comfort zone in the Tea Emporium, although her break doesn’t last long as she can’t help but try to work out how a man was killed in a locked room. As with most of us, she worries at the issue trying to cover all scenarios. Yet again, this instalment has a terrific cast of characters – not all likeable, but all interesting enough to take a closer peek at. Another well-written, enigmatic read which is both thrilling and enjoyable and a worthy addition to this series. As you can guess by now, having read one I just couldn’t resist picking up another – and another! Again, this truly earns all five shining stars.
I downloaded this novel via Kindle Unlimited; this is – as always – my honest, original and unbiased review.
