This is a collection of stories; I really couldn‘t fit them all in so chose to read Cop an Attitude by Hilary Grossman.
Waverley is a career woman; she has a very busy job and is single; not particularly through choice but more a case of never having found the right man – or, at least, one she can trust. Stopped by a police officer in the early hours of the morning, he seems particularly – well, not just strict but overly strict and when they cross paths again and again things don’t get any easier. What is the guy’s problem?
This is a fabulous story! Beautifully drawn characters, plenty of laughs, a big dollop of romance and a touch of mystery all add up to a very pleasurable read. Hilary Grossman never fails to entertain and has a penchant for being funny! I love that there is a tenuous link to her series and I highly recommend all her books. I’m sure that the others in this anthology will be of an equal high standard and fully intend to get around to reading them in future. An easy 4.5*!
My thanks to the publisher for my copy and to Give Me Books PR for my spot on this tour; this is – as always – my honest, original and unbiased review.
