Lila is longing for her baby to arrive, she feels she’s been elephant-sized for just too long! Joanne and Max have bought their very own cottage and are looking forward to moving in whilst Roxie is eager to hold Lila’s baby shower before she goes into labour – can it be done?
It’s such a joy to return to Sunflower Street and catch up with the residents again – I feel as if they are friends by this sixth book. What a smashing place to live! Full of wonderfully created characters – and pets – there is always something happening to keep the reader on their toes. This, especially, is a beautifully written instalment with everything handled smartly by the author making it such fun to read as well as a bit tense from time to time. And, best of all, there is just a little hint at the end that there may be more to come – I really hope so. Another gorgeous read from Rachel Griffiths, worth all five stars! If you haven’t come across this feel-good series before, then I recommend you indulge yourself and lift your spirits!
