Boomerville in Ballemegille by Caroline James #BookReview #BlogTour #Boomerville 2 #ThePublishHub #RachelsRandomResources #5*

Join Hattie and Jo as they head to Southern Ireland to open Boomerville Manor, a holiday retreat for guests of ‘a certain age’.

There’s Irish craic and shenanigans aplenty for the colourful cast of characters as everyone gathers for the grand opening.

Meet Melissa, an ex-cabaret singer running from her abusive husband, and Bill, a bachelor bullied from beyond the grave by the ghostly voice of his mother. Along with local bobby Harry the Helmet, ageing aquatic team the Boomerville Babes, eccentric artist Lucinda Gray, and heartthrob Finbar Murphy, they gather in Ireland and the fun begins. But murder is in the air and there’s mischief afoot.

Will the residents get more than they bargained for at Boomerville?

Set in the beautiful Irish countryside, ‘Boomerville at Ballymegille’ is a heart-warming story of friendship, fears and new beginnings.

Fantastic, Fabulous Fun!

I have fond memories of the first Boomerville novel – but I had forgotten just how much fun there is in Caroline James’ writing!

Never one to stand still, Jo has bought a large house in Ireland with a view to opening another Boomerville-style hotel, so she sets off to do everything necessary to get it up and running. Along with Hattie, they plan a grand opening and as well as involving lots of locals, they also bring along guests and friends from home. Can they get everything done in time – and will everyone get along?

Packed with fun and laughter and several ups and downs, this novel just sparkles from beginning to end. I loved everything about it! With a wonderful array of characters, each with their own thing going on, it’s a packed read. If I had to pick out one outstanding personality it would, of course, be Hattie who made me giggle so much with her down-to-earth sayings. Uplifting, hilarious and absolutely enchanting, I cannot recommend this highly enough – trust me, it will definitely brighten your day! For me, the animals were the icing on the cake; they were such fun! No doubt about it, this is a fabulous five star read, with each and every one sparkling brightly!

My thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources both for forwarding my copy and my spot on this tour; this is – as always – my honest, original and unbiased review.
