‘A true love story, written by a mother’s heart’ Milly Johnson.
‘A captivating story that packs an emotional punch’ Heidi Swain.
Beth Brandon always dreamed of owning a florist, but today the bouquets of peonies and bright spring flowers are failing to calm her nerves.
Because today, Beth has a life-changing decision to share with her husband.
Izzy Vaughan thought she and her husband would stay together forever, but sometime last year, their love began to fade. They both find such joy in their young son Noah – but is he enough to keep them together?
Eight years ago, something happened to these two women. Something that is about to bring them together in a way no-one thought possible…
Thought-provoking, emotional and uplifting, this is a gripping love story for fans of Jojo Moyes and Amanda Prowse.
An Unforgettable Story!
This is an unusual tale; it tells of love in it’s purest form and will definitely touch your heart like no other.
Beth Brandon is a widow. Five years on from her husband’s death from cancer she still shares her daily life and decisions with him – and the latest one is a whopper. Izzy Vaughan, like Beth, married for life but finds herself estranged from her husband Pete and wonders how they got there. These two women are about to find out they have something in common – something entirely unforeseen which is going to impact on both their lives.
Very different from other novels I’ve read from Dani Atkins, this unfolds slowly to reveal an unforgettable story which will leave you full of admiration for the understanding shown in writing it. Whatever you expect as the details come to the fore, I doubt very much that it’s this. A truly inspiring read, and one I have enjoyed immensely! Highly recommended to anyone with an shred of compassion in their bones and, for me, this author’s best novel so far and fully earns all five shining stars.
My thanks to publisher Head of Zeus for my copy and in particular to Vicky Joss for my place in this tour. This is my honest, original and unbiased review.
