Her close friend, Jake Woodhouse, is staying nearby and they are enjoying spending plenty of time together.

Following weeks of fun and laughter, misunderstandings and disappointments, Ruby gets the surprise of a lifetime. But will she follow her heart, or decide that she’s better off alone?

Join the residents of the little Cornish gift shop as they embark upon what could be their best summer yet.

Written with Warmth and Understanding!    Stars 5

Another delicious read from a fabulous author!

Ruby Penrose is now firmly settled, living with her nanna and helping her to run her gift shop. Now that Jake Woodhouse has returned to the area, life is just hunky-dory and they often enjoy walking their dogs together. When a stranger turns up at the door asking for Harriet, it upsets Ruby’s nanna considerably. What could possibly have changed Harriet from the happy, outgoing soul she usually is – and will Ruby ever find out?

With the third book in series, the story is developing considerably, introducing new characters whilst keeping up with those we’ve met in the first two. Set in the most picturesque setting with wonderful characters and an excellent storyline – not to mention the charismatic dogs – this is a really easy read. I’ve followed Rachel Griffiths’ novels for several years now, and she writes with a warmth and understanding which always adds up to a terrifically enjoyable read! I would most definitely recommend reading these from the first in series, as it is a continuing story and you would miss so much of the back story if you didn’t read them all. This is an author you can always trust to deliver, leaving her readers with a warm glow at a story so enjoyed. Highly recommended to all lovers of a well-written rom-com, and one which earns all five shiny stars!

My grateful thanks to the author for providing my copy. This is, of course, my honest, original and unbiased review.
