Fast-Paced, Vibrant and Thrilling!  Stars 5

Sssshhh .. don’t tell my husband, but I think I may just be a little bit in love with Dan Roy! He’s my absolute favourite goodie with a bad side and the ability to always do what’s right . . .

This time round, we find Dan having arrived in London, but when he gets the message that his one time enemy, Scorpion, is in trouble in France he quickly makes his way there. He knows that she would only contact him if she was depending on him for help, so how can he resist? But Dan and Scorpion don’t only need to battle with the known enemy, they must also discover the identity of the members of a secret group intent on changing the world as we know it.

Having a new Mick Bose novel on my reading list makes me incredibly happy. I seem to read everything else so much faster as I race towards enjoying Dan Roy’s latest adventure. Anticipation is high, and I’ve never been disappointed. Yet again, this ninth book in series is fast, exciting, and thrilled me from the top of my head to the tips of my toes! How my heart has thudded throughout! Luckily I finished reading in bed last evening, as I was quite worn out with the excitement of it all. The author has created a fast-paced, vibrant, and thrilling read with a highly original – yet totally believable – plot. Nothing is obvious and, as always, there are twists and turns throughout. Dan’s athleticism and fitness never fail to impress (swoon, swoon) and the ending came as a surprise – but was completely perfect. A satisfying and rewarding read and I really, REALLY, hope to read so much more about my favourite hero! Whilst each book is a standalone read, I would really recommend working through the whole series in order, then you can really relish the full Dan Roy effect. A super, sparkling five stars!

My grateful thanks to the author for providing my copy. All opinions stated here are entirely my own.
