Ronaldo and Rudi discover friends come in all shapes and sizes
as they embark on a superhero mission to help a lost wolf cub called Ernie find her pack.
Rudi comes up with a plan to find the pack and deliver a message during a speed test at flying school. But Ronaldo isn’t totally onboard with the idea. He desperately wants to break the speed record and the plan means jeopardising his chance of becoming champion.
Will Ronaldo go for glory… or will he discover the true meaning of friendship and sacrifice the race for Ernie?
Bumbling Wing Commander Blitsen, head of The Reindeer Flying Academy, and mischievous brothers, Dasher, Comet and Prancer also feature in this fun tale of bravery and friendship.

This is a story about a lost wolf that wants to get back to her pack.
She gets help from a reindeer called Ronaldo.
This series is also perfect for Christmas and one of the best stories I have ever read during my childhood.
Thrilling, Exciting and So Entertaining!
When I read and reviewed the first Ronaldo book in series, I loved it’s unique storyline and wonderful illustrations – also by author Maxine Sylvester – and this one does what I didn’t think was possible and is even MORE awesome!
Once again we meet up with Ronaldo and his friend Rudi, now second year cadets in The Flying Academy with the introduction of a white wolf cub, Ernie. The storyline is dazzling, and I think this will be lapped up by children at any time of year. Thrilling, exciting and so entertaining as we follow the two best buddies as they try to work out why the carrots are disappearing from Ronaldo’s backpack and subsequently come up with a plan to reunite Ernie with her lost pack. Add in the terror of reindeer being regarded as a tasty meal by wolves and the warmth of friendship and bravery shines through.
I have to say as a mature adult I adore these stories. Completely original, the writing is amazing and the character drawings provide the icing on the cake. They carry a great message of friendship, doing the right thing when you’re scared and even the bullies get their comeuppance! If you know children of the age to enjoy these books, then don’t hesitate – they will be a super addition to any kids’ library!
My thanks again to author Maxine Sylvester for offering a copy to myself and my ‘junior reviewer’ – my granddaughter – who loves these books even more than I do! Both our reviews are written independently, with no input from others and are our honest, original and unbiased reviews.
